Small Group Training
Three to five people, one coach, the same standards as one-to-one. Friends, neighbours, a group of colleagues or a family — community and accountability at the lowest cost per person we offer.
A small group is not a class. There is no choreography, no counting everyone down together, and no music dictating the tempo. Everyone is on their own programme in the same room, coached in rotation.
What Small Group Training Gives You
Not a Class — Coached Training
A fitness class gives everyone the same movements regardless of who they are. Here each person has their own assessment and their own plan, and the coach moves between you. Nobody does an exercise they should not be doing.
The Cheapest Route to Real Coaching
Dividing one coach across three to five people is the most affordable format at SHUYO, and still a different thing from a gym membership: you are assessed, programmed, progressed and corrected.
Group Energy, Without the Crowd
Training beside people you know raises effort in a way solo training rarely matches. Five is the ceiling precisely so that effort does not come at the cost of being properly watched.
Built From Groups That Already Exist
These sessions work best for people who already know each other — neighbours in one tower, a group of friends, a family, a team. The social bond is what keeps attendance high.
Three Ways to Commit
The difference between these is time, not content. Every commitment is 3–5 people, coached the same way — what changes is how long the work has to compound.
The Practice
A month to find out whether this works for you, and whether we work well together. No long commitment to discover that.
- 3 to 6 sessions a week, agreed around your real calendar
- 1 full assessment to establish your baseline
- Training wherever suits you, at your convenient time
- Weekly check-ins
- Guided plan and progress tracking on your phone
The Method
Where the real transformation happens. Twelve weeks is the shortest honest window for your body to visibly answer back — and the commitment most clients choose.
- 3 to 6 sessions a week, adjusted as your capacity grows
- 3 full assessments, one every four weeks
- Training wherever suits you, at your convenient time
- Nutrition guidance included
- Guided plan and progress tracking on your phone
- Continuous review and reprogramming
The Mastery
The journey of becoming. Six months is long enough that the person who finishes is not the person who started.
- 3 to 6 sessions a week, periodised across the full 24 weeks
- 6 full assessments, one every four weeks
- Training wherever suits you, at your convenient time
- Nutrition guidance included
- Guided plan and progress tracking on your phone
- Quarterly strategy review and goal reset
Three to six sessions a week — whatever you can hold to honestly, not the number that sounds impressive. We agree it together in your free first session.
Choose Small Group Training If
- You have three to five people who already know each other and can commit to a fixed slot.
- Cost per person matters and you still want genuine coaching.
- You train better with other people in the room.
- You have a space that fits a group — a villa garden, a majlis or a tower gym.
The trade-off is honest: with five people the coach cannot watch every rep you perform. If you have a complex injury, a condition needing close supervision, or a goal with a hard deadline, one-on-one is the right call and we will say so.
Small Group Training in Dubai, Answered
How many people can train in a small group?
Three to five. Five is a deliberate ceiling — beyond that the coach cannot assess and correct each person properly within the session, and it stops being coached training and becomes a class.
Is small group training the same as a fitness class?
No. In a class everyone performs the same movements regardless of ability. In small group training each person is individually assessed and given their own programme and loads; the coach rotates between you within one session.
Can people of different fitness levels train in one group?
Yes, because programmes are individual rather than shared. What matters more is that the group can commit to a consistent weekly slot, since the session is scheduled for everyone at once.
Where do small group sessions take place?
Wherever the group has space: a villa garden, a majlis, a tower gym, a shared community facility or outdoors in the cooler months. The coach brings the equipment.
