Buddy Training for Two

Two people, one coach, two programmes. Couples, friends, siblings, colleagues — the accountability of having someone who notices when you do not show up, at a shared rate.

The single biggest predictor of whether someone is still training in six months is not their programme. It is whether anyone would notice if they stopped. Buddy training builds that in.

Why This Format

What Buddy Training Gives You

01

Someone Notices If You Skip

Cancelling on a coach is easy. Cancelling on your partner or your closest friend, who is already changed and waiting, is much harder. That friction is the whole point and it is worth more than any training variable.

02

Two Programmes, Not One Compromise

You will not be given your partner’s workout. Loads, progressions and exercise choices are set individually; the session is simply structured so one coach can run both of you properly at the same time.

03

A Shared Rate

Two people splitting one coach’s hour costs each of you meaningfully less than training alone. For a lot of households this is what makes consistent coaching affordable rather than aspirational.

04

It Changes the Household

When two people in the same home are training and eating the same way, nutrition stops being a negotiation. Couples who train together tend to hold their results far longer than either would alone.

Commitment, Not Session Packs

Three Ways to Commit

The difference between these is time, not content. Every commitment is 2 people, coached the same way — what changes is how long the work has to compound.

4 weeks

The Practice

A month to find out whether this works for you, and whether we work well together. No long commitment to discover that.

  • 3 to 6 sessions a week, agreed around your real calendar
  • 1 full assessment to establish your baseline
  • Training wherever suits you, at your convenient time
  • Weekly check-ins
  • Guided plan and progress tracking on your phone
24 weeks

The Mastery

The journey of becoming. Six months is long enough that the person who finishes is not the person who started.

  • 3 to 6 sessions a week, periodised across the full 24 weeks
  • 6 full assessments, one every four weeks
  • Training wherever suits you, at your convenient time
  • Nutrition guidance included
  • Guided plan and progress tracking on your phone
  • Quarterly strategy review and goal reset

Three to six sessions a week — whatever you can hold to honestly, not the number that sounds impressive. We agree it together in your free first session.

Is This You

Choose Buddy Training If

  • You have one person whose schedule genuinely matches yours.
  • You know you are more consistent when somebody is expecting you.
  • You want serious coaching at a shared cost.
  • You and your partner want the same nutrition approach in one kitchen.

The honest catch: if your buddy drops out, the format drops with them. It also needs real schedule overlap — two people with clashing diaries do better separately. Think about this before committing to twelve weeks.

Questions

Buddy Training in Dubai, Answered

How does buddy personal training work?

One coach runs a session for two people at the same time, in one of your homes or a building gym. Each person has their own assessment, their own loads and their own progressions; the session is structured so both are coached properly within the hour, usually by alternating sets.

Do both people need the same fitness level?

No. Programmes are set individually, so a beginner and an experienced lifter can train in the same session. What matters far more is that your schedules genuinely match, because the format depends on both of you turning up.

Is buddy training cheaper than one-on-one?

Per person, yes — two people share one coach’s hour. Coaching is quoted after your free first session rather than from a price list, because every plan is individual, but the shared structure is a large part of why people choose it.

What if my training partner stops?

You can continue one-on-one, or bring in someone else. We will talk through the options rather than leaving you stuck mid-commitment.
