What the Score Measures

The Six Dimensions, and Why These Six

The SHUYO Score is a self-assessment, not a medical test. It asks fifteen honest questions and returns a single number out of 100, along with the one dimension currently holding you back. It takes about three minutes, requires no email address, and the result never leaves your device.

Physical condition covers strength, stamina and how your body handles ordinary load — stairs, luggage, a long day on your feet. Mental state looks at clarity and resilience under pressure, because training rarely fails for physical reasons alone. Recovery examines sleep quality and duration, the most underrated variable in any program.

Discipline measures whether you do the work when motivation is absent, which is most of the time. Focus asks how well you hold attention on one thing. Nutrition looks at whether what you eat supports what you are asking your body to do.

The six are scored separately because they fail separately. Someone training five days a week on five hours of sleep does not have a training problem. Someone eating well but sleeping badly will stall regardless of how precise their macros are. The score exists to show you which one to fix first, rather than to flatter you with an average.

A low score is information, not a verdict. Most people who take the assessment find the weakest dimension is not the one they expected, and that is the entire point. Once you know where the practice is thinnest, you can begin there instead of guessing.

If you want a coach to interpret the result with you, the first session is free. If you would rather work from your own numbers first, the body metrics calculator returns body fat percentage, lean mass, BMR and daily calorie targets.

Is the SHUYO Score a medical assessment?

No. It is a structured self-assessment designed to highlight which area of your practice needs attention first. It does not diagnose anything and is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or a registered dietitian.

Do you store my answers?

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and the result stays on your device. There is no account, no email requirement and nothing sent to a server.

How often should I retake it?

Every eight to twelve weeks. That is long enough for real change in recovery, discipline and body composition to register, and short enough to catch a dimension slipping.
